Iran Press/ Iran news: The bio-capsule is a research-technology cargo to prepare the grounds for Iran's space industry to send humans to space.
A few hours ago, Salman launcher sent the 500kg space bio-capsule to an altitude of 130 km above the earth.
The capsule launched successfully and underwent an exclusive test including propulsion, recovery, speed control, impact mitigation systems, capsule aerodynamics, parachute mechanisms, as well as control and monitoring systems for environmental conditions.
The launcher itself is the first version of the Salman class, which is capable of carrying half-ton cargoes.
