Iran Press/Iran news: Some 20 km away from Takht-e-Soleiman, there is a lake full of mysteries with a floating island, 60m in diameter. The island floats across the lake which is 120m in diameter.
One of the mysteries says there are huge treasures in the bottom of the lake, including the ‘Seal of Solomon’, which was the source of Solomon’s power to command demons, jinn (genies), or to speak with animals.
Spiritual tourists travel to this lake to absorb its energy since the lake is one of the energy centres or chakras of the earth.
Despite freezing winters in Takab, the temperature of the lake stays close to 21? C throughout summer and winter.
Takht-e-Soleiman, which was once a strategic area, is located 48 km to the northeast of Takab in West Azerbaijan and has lovely weather and is registered on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
According to ancient scripts, Takht-e-Soleiman was believed to be the birthplace of Zoroaster. It was a large educational and social centre and a place of worship in the pre-Islamic era for Iranians. But it was ruined in an attack by Heraclius, a Byzantine Emperor, in 624 A.D.
