Syria (IP) - Iran has displayed its latest chemical products in the ChemExpo 2024 that is underway in Damascus, Syria, along with other countries, including Saudi Arabia, Jordan, India, Russia, and South Africa participating in the international event.

Iran Press/ West Asia: Iran's House of Innovation and Technology in Syria has set up a large booth at the Damascus chemical products exhibition, ChemExpo 2024, where the industrial delegation of Saudi Arabia attended the Iranian booth and discussed industrial cooperation with their Iranian counterparts.

Hesham al-Nihas, the director of the industrial section of an Iranian company told Iran Press correspondent in Damascus that the Iranian House of Innovation and Technology in Syria aims to facilitate the process of trade between Iran and Syria.

He said Iran took part at the Damascus ChemExpo to present a detailed introduction of the Iranian products and their applications adding that Iran is an industrial and advanced country in petrochemical, polymer, and oil sectors.

Mohammad Amin, the manager of Saudi Al-Halif export company told Iran Press that the meeting of the Iranian and Syrian company representatives in the event is a good sign for the development of trade in the future. 

ChemExpo kicked off on May 5 and is underway until May 8, with 80 domestic and foreign companies participating in the international event. 204
