Iran Press/ Iran news: Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif posted a message on his official Twitter page emphasizing several issues at the meeting of foreign ministers of the remaining members of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
In a Twitter message, the Iranian Foreign Minister stated the issues raised in his meeting with the Foreign Ministers of China, Russia, Germany, France and Britain as the following: 1. Deadline for three European member states to save JCPOA, 2. Trade data between 2014-2019 proves that the European Union and the three European countries have violated their obligations, 3. Three European countries share irreparable damage to the Iranians with the United States.
"Germany, Britain and France made commitments to meet their obligations within a certain period of time," Zarif wrote.
The JCPOA timetable (an issue) is inseparable from the agreement and renegotiation is not possible. The crises and armaments in our region have originated mainly from the United States and three European countries' policies.
"Democratic countries cannot ask Tehran to violate the Iranian Parliament (Islamic Consultative Assembly) resolution," he continued.
Zarif stressing that every partner in JCPOA should return to the deal, added: "When the United States and the three European countries fulfill their commitments, Iran will immediately reverse the actions taken in response to the illegal withdrawal of the United States and the clear violation of the treaty by the three European countries."
The informal meeting of the Iranian foreign minister and the P4 + 1 group (Germany, France, Britain, Russia and China) ended on Monday with the presence of EU foreign policy chief Joseph Borrell, ending with a joint statement.
In the statement, the Iranian foreign minister and the P4 + 1, along with the EU foreign policy chief, reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining the JCPOA and said that the resolution is still fully binding. 219
