Dozens of young people have staged a demonstration against Brexit in front of UK department of health and social care in London.

Pro-EU-activists have staged a demonstration outside UK Department of Health in London city to highlight the panic stockpiling that they believe would ensue if the UK left the European Union without a deal.

Femi Oluwole, ‘Our Future, Our Choice’ co-founder and chief spokesperson, said a shortage of medical supplies was not good for the NHS and “against the will of the people”.

In Aug. 22, European Union chief negotiator for Brexit Michel Barnier officially eliminated the possibility that the bloc and the UK could reach a deal on Brexit during an October summit.

May’s recently published white paper calls explicitly for the U.K. to leave the EU’s customs union and single market, while demanding a new “facilitated customs arrangement” under which, “as if in a combined customs territory with the EU, the U.K. would apply the EU’s tariffs and trade policy for goods intended for the EU. The U.K. would also apply its own tariffs and trade policy for goods intended for consumption in the U.K.”
