Iran Press/ Middle East: "We are in a state of big disaster which has caught the attention of everyone," Oman's Foreign Minister Youssef bin Alawi said while speaking at the 23rd Tehran Dialogue Forum.
Top Omani official extended his condolences to Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif whom he called his "brother", over the martyrdom of the late Lieutenant-General Qassem Soleimani.
Bin Alawi explained further that Lieutenant-General Qassem Soleimani had great achievements and beseeched the Almighty to grant him and the other martyrs everlasting mercy and salvation.
Omani Foreign Minister expressed his happiness over attending the 23rd Tehran Dialogue Forum meeting saying and said: "I am sure that Iran is taking steps along the right path of security and Iran has done it and we are Iran's partner."
"This is the realization of the efforts and without the wisdom of the Leader of Iran this would not have been possible. Our problems will be solved thanks to the wisdom and tact of Iran's Leader," Omani FM highlighted.
Youssef bin Alawi also said the Americans had said in their contacts with him, that they are after de-escalation of tensions.
Omani FM noted that all of us try to realize the real stability in the region.
Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis were assassinated in an airstrike on the Baghdad International Airport in Iraq on direct orders from US President, Donald Trump.
