IP - At least 35,091 people have been killed and 78,827 wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7 in the past 220 days, amid Gaza’s Health Ministry warning that the health system could collapse across the Strip in a few hours.

Iran Press/West Asia: Following the ground invasion of the Zionist military on Rafah and the past night air raids as one the heaviest attacks so far, fierce clashes in Jabalia in north Gaza erupted and Israel sent troops and tanks back into the area.

Over the past 24 hours alone, 57 Gazans were killed and 82 others were wounded due to shelling and bombardment by Israeli forces in Gaza.

The ongoing conflict escalated after Hamas launched an attack on Israeli territory in October of last year, resulting in casualties and hostages being taken.

At least 360,000 Palestinians have fled Rafah, according to the United Nations, as Israel expands its offensive in the southern city as well as northern Gaza.

Gaza’s Health Ministry warns that the health system could collapse across the Strip in a few hours after Israeli forces have issued an evacuation order to medical staff at the Kuwaiti Hospital in Rafah – one of the last remaining hospitals in the area with only about 16 beds available. Also, the European Gaza Hospital, near Khan Younis has already run out of fuel and is in the blackout.

Only 12 out of 36 hospitals are partially functioning across Gaza, according to the World Health Organization.
