Tehran (IP) - Government Spokesman Ali Rabiee said, "Reports in the National Task Force for Combating coronavirus show that we have passed the stage of managing and controlling the virus, and our doctors and medical staff have entered the phase of containing corona disease."

Iran Press/Iran news:  Fortunately, our white zones have increased to 280 zones and we have the highest improvement after China and Switzerland," Ali Rabiee told reporters at his weekly meeting.

On the US threat to Iranian oil tankers on the Venezuelan route, Rabiee said, "No government is required to abide by US sanctions."

He added that the shipment of gasoline tankers was at the request of the Venezuelan government. We want the international community to respond to this new innovation by the United States.

"The US piracy has a long history, but it's too early to raise the reactions, there are options on the table, and I hope the Americans don't make a mistake," the government spokesman said.

We are ready for worst-case scenario against the US

Asked about a possible US move to block the passage of Iranian gasoline tankers to Venezuela and Mohammad Javad Zarif's letter to the UN Secretary-General and the Foreign Ministry's warning of a strong and immediate response, Rabiee said, "No country is required to comply with the US unilateral sanctions, and we are committed to normal exchanges with Venezuela."

The government spokesman added that the shipment of tankers carrying gasoline was ordered by the Venezuelan government and relied on the free will of countries in conventional international exchanges. We want to make sure that these cargoes are safe from the risk of US piracy, which has been the case in the past.

Rabiee stated, "We expect the international community to show great sensitivity and appropriate response to this innovation in the freedom of international waterways and commute protection. The innovation of the US regime has been unparalleled in violating the rules and regulations of the law.

He added, "The foreign minister gave the necessary warnings and this issue was examined in the government and the Supreme National Security Council. We hope that the United States does not make such a mistake. But in any case, we will consider all the possibilities and we are ready for the worst.

Rabiee noted, "Although it is too early to comment on Iran's response to a possible US piracy if they make such a mistake, we will reserve all the options for ourselves and take appropriate action to protect maritime freedom and increase the unprecedented cost of breaking the law."

The government spokesman said: "We are a country with Venezuela that has had ties to each other for a long time. We sell goods and buy goods from them. These connections have nothing to do with other countries. All of this is within the framework of actions that are considered free by international law, and within the framework of healthy business communication."

Incident at the holy tomb of Jews in Hamedan is a suspicious act

Regarding the news about the holy tomb of Jews compatriots in Hamedan, he said: "The building is intact and this is a suspicious act and they want to show that Jewish compatriots in Iran have a dangerous and difficult life, while they have been living with the people for centuries."

Rabiee said: "Iran has not been an anti-Semitic society and we are confronting the coercion and child-killing of a party and the ruling intellectual current."
