Iranian researchers diminish COVID-19 treatment to 6 days

Tehran (IP) - In an important research study, Iranian stem-cell scientists managed to reduce the duration of treatment for COVID-19 disease to 6 days.

Iran PressIran news:  The reduction of treatment duration of COVID-19 disease to six days has been achieved using stem-cell products in an Iranian knowledge-based company in less than three months, which will be an important development in the treatment of the patients infected with corona.

Prior to the achievement of the Iranian scientists, the treatment duration of the corona-infected patients took long from 2 weeks to 8 weeks.

According to the latest record announced by the Head of Public Relations and Information Center of the Health Ministry, Kianoush Jahanpour on Sunday 120,198 people in the country infected with the coronavirus, 6,988 people have and 94,464 of total infected people have been recovered.

Globally, more than 4.7 million people have been infected and more than 315,000 have died from COVID-19, according to Johns Hopkins University. Almost 1.7 million people have recovered.
