Tehran (IP) - Iran's Foreign Minister addressed US President, urging him to stop interfering in the affairs of other nations, especially in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Iran PressIran News: In his latest tweet released on Sunday, Mohammad Javad Zarif responded to Donald Trump's re-offering of humanitarian assistance to Iran, saying that Iran would export ventilators in the next few months.

"All you need to do is stop interfering in the affairs of other nations, mine especially," Zarif said in the Twitter message.

He added that Iran would not take advice from any American politician.

US President Donald Trump claimed on Saturday that he would be willing to send ventilators to Iran to help treat coronavirus patients.

He also claimed to have "thousands of excess ventilators."

"We have a stockpile of ventilators,” Trump said during the daily coronavirus status briefing.

US President's claim came after he said he gave the Governor of New York only a small fraction of the “40 thousand Ventilators” he had requested from the government to address the need of coronavirus patients in the coronavirus-stricken state.

The US has the most COVID-19 cases of any country with nearly 740,000 and the most fatalities with at least 39,000, according to data aggregated by Johns Hopkins University.

The global case tally for the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 has climbed to 2.35 million. The death toll rose to more than 160,000.
