Iran Press/Iran news: Deputy Health Minister, Alireza Raisi in a daily press conference on Monday 3 March held at the Ministry of Health and Medical Education said that 523 new cases of Coronavirus infection diagnosed during the past 24 hours and 12 people died from infection.
He said according to the latest statics 1501 people infected to Coronavirus so far, out of whom 66 people died.
"Tehran, Qom, and Gilan have the most individuals diagnosed with Covid-19', Alireza Raisi said.
The health official noted that 22 laboratories are now active in diagnosing Coronavirus across Iran, and this has highly accelerated the pace of diagnosing.
