The senior assistant to Iran's Foreign Minister for political affairs Ali Asghar Khaji met the spokesman for Yemen's Ansarullah Movement, Mohammed Abdul Salam, here in Tehran on Saturday. 

Iran Press/Iran News: During the meeting, the spokesman and chief negotiator of the Yemeni Ansarollah movement, who heads a high-ranking delegation in Tehran, outlined the latest political and field developments, He expressing gratitude and appreciation for the continued political and humanitarian support and positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran in defending the Yemeni nation.

Khaji also referred to the political efforts and negotiations of the Islamic Republic of Iran with various countries on the Yemeni issue, saying: "Since the beginning of the Yemeni cruel war, the Islamic Republic of Iran has tried to do its utmost to stop the war and bloodshed, to conduct Yemeni-Yemeni talks and to end the cruel siege of the Yemeni nation, and has emphasized on accelerating humanitarian aid to the country."

Abdul Salam had earlier met with our Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.
