Tehran (IP) - Iran's Government Spokesman said that in economic war conditions, the focus should be shifted on people's daily life needs.

Iran Press/Iran news: In an interview with Iran Press after the weekly cabinet meeting, the government spokesman Ali Rabeie said that different situations require appropriate contingency plans and reforming structures.

Referring to the establishment of a new Ministry of Trade and Commercial Services, Ali Rabiei said in such condition controlling prices and on-time import, are of important decisions required to be made in an economic war.

Rabiei said: "In the economic war, supporting consumers and people's daily lives as well as making coherence to the ministry is required."

Iran's government spokesman on 19 Aug said that the sanctions imposed on Iran by the US government are aimed at the Iranian nation rather than the governments and the Iranian nation bravely passed the sanctions.

On the United Nations General Assembly's sideline, Iran's President Hassan Rouhani criticized the silence of the United Nations in front of the US’ economic terrorism against the Iranian nation.

Iran's President made the remarks on Wednesday 25 Sep 2019 in New York during the meeting with the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on the sidelines of the seventy-fourth session of the UN General Assembly.

Iranian President said: “One way or another, the Iranian nation will overcome these problems like the past, but this shame will be recorded in the history that an aggressor government has done economic terrorism against a nation, while the UN remaining silent.” 101/205
