Tabriz (IP) - The 10th international policy forum on urban growth and conservation of historical sites of the Eurasia region kicked off on Thursday Augest 29 in Tabriz, the provincial capital of East Azerbaijan Province in northwestern Iran.

Iran Press/Iran news: The forum aims to inspect the ways of preserving historical sites in the Eurasia region.

Professor Riichi Miyake, member of the board of the Japanese Institute of Architecture and chairman of the conference, said: “Historical sites are like countries’ identity and it is one of the most important mandates of the countries to preserve them.”

Dozens of specialists from Japan, Australia, Finland, Georgia, Romania, France, and Uzbekistan have attended the conference.
