Brigadier General Hossein Salami

The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) said the Islamic Republic has closed all the paths for the enemy in the military domain.

Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking at Khatam-al Anbiya Construction Headquarters on Wednesday, Brigadier General Hossein Salami said: "We have a high deterrence capability so we are obliged to formulate deterrence to overcome the enemy."

"In the past, the enemy was focused on military war, but at present, the enemy is focused on economic war, the economy is the main battleground between us and our enemies," he added according to  Iran Press.

Pointing to this fact that the enemy wants to impose its will on Iran, Salami said: "We have closed all the paths for the enemy in the military sphere, and now the enemy is worried about the prospect of war and this worry is apparent in their physical and tactical behaviour."

The IRGC commander went on to describe the meeting between the Japanese Prime Minister,  Abe Shinzo and the Leader of the Islamic Republic, Ayattollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei as a heavy political defeat for the enemy and reiterated: "Iran's political clout increased after this meeting and claims about Iran's isolation have proven to be totally untrue." 101/211/207
