Supreme Archimandrite, Meghrik Barikian said that Armenian Christians always enjoy their right of religious freedom in Iran.

Iran Press/Iran news: Bishop Meghrik Barikian added on the sideline of the conference on solidarity among religions in Tehran on Monday that the Armenian Christians always have freedom for performing their ceremonies in Iran and at the present time they freely celebrate their ceremonies without any difficulty and problem.

Referring to the participation of the Armenian Christians in the 40th anniversary of the Islamic revolution, Bishop Meghrik Barikian added in an exclusive interview with Iran Press that all cultural organizations and the societies under authority of 'Tehran Armenian Caliphate' have taken all measures for celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Islamic revolution.

At least 200, 000 Armenian Christians also known as Persian-Armenians or Iranian-Armenians from Armenian ethnicity live in Iran almost in Tehran, Tabriz, Isfahan, Yazd , Rasht and other cities across the country.

Today's conference on spiritual solidarity of religions was hold at the headquarter of the Organization of Culture and Islamic Relations in Tehran.105/205
