Ayatollah Khamenei said in the message: "Teachers are instrumental in this endeavor, tasked with imparting knowledge, honing skills, and crucially, shaping the awareness and identity of the future generation. The students nurtured by teachers will, in due course, apply their acquired skills and knowledge, often mirroring their teachers’ conduct and discourse in their personal, professional, and public lives."
He further said: "The workplace, in turn, represents a vast spectrum of national endeavor, encompassing homes, offices, businesses, places of worship, farms, workshops, factories, and diverse service sectors. The advancement of the nation is intrinsically linked to the presence of diligence and commitment, the cornerstones of significant achievement, in this broad expanse."
"The commitment and contributions of a worker can elevate them to a status deserving of profound appreciation, akin to that bestowed upon a dedicated teacher and mentor. This journey of recognition begins with parental guidance and is further shaped by the influence of educators," he stressed.
The Leader highlighted the Iranian nation's resistance anfd unity in the way of the proggress: "The Islamic Republic of Iran, after more than forty-seven years of persistent effort, has demonstrated its formidable capabilities on the global stage, engaging in a struggle against the enemies of progress. Now, the nation must similarly confront and overcome adversaries in the economic and cultural spheres."
"Teachers are poised to be the most effective agents in the cultural battle, while workers form a critical component of the economic struggle. These two groups collectively represent the backbone of both the cultural and economic realms. As such, both must grasp their pivotal roles, transcending mere professions for which they receive compensation," the message added.
He also called for enanced support for teachers and workers: "While annual or periodic acknowledgments of these groups are fitting, the appreciation for their efforts must translate into more tangible and practical support. The Iranian nation, which has consistently shown strong support for its military forces, should extend this same solidarity to teachers and workers."
Ayatollah Khamenei encouraged the participation of students’ families in the management of schools and universities and stressed the prioritization of the consuming domestically produced goods, which are the fruits of labor from productive Iranian workers.
The Ledaer asked business owners to make every effort to retain their workforce, viewing each employee as an invaluable asset and called on the government to lend its support to these benevolent initiatives.
Ayatollah Khamenei concluded: "Iran, having emerged as a military power through sustained effort, will, by divine grace, advance toward the pinnacle of progress and excellence by embedding Iranian Islamic identity within the hearts and minds of its youth, guided by its teachers and mentors."
