Tehran (IP) - The Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Armenia called for continued transit and scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries.

Iran Press/Iran News: According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry's press and media office, Mohammad Javad Zarif and Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan discussed the fight against the outbreak of coronavirus in Iran in spite of the US cruel and unilateral sanctions.

Two officials also exchanged views on transit and cooperation in science and technology, and called on continued cooperation in the areas of mutual interest.

Earlier, Mohammad Javad Zarif held a phone conversation with his Croatian counterpart Gordan Grli?-Radman, whose country is the rotating chair of the European Union, to get information about the latest decisions made in a video press conference of the EU foreign ministers on Monday.
