Iran Press/ Iran News: Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Nasser Kanaani added that bilateral, regional, and international issues were discussed.
Kanaani, elsewhere, stressed that the good agreements between Iran and Saudi Arabia will strengthen the Tehran- Riyadh ties in the future.
Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan arrived in Tehran on Saturday on his first visit after the restoration of diplomatic relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia and was welcomed by Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
After two years of negotiations hosted by Iraq and Oman, Iran and Saudi Arabia, on March 10, 2023, and after several days of meetings between the security officials of the two countries in Beijing, announced the restoration of ties between the two countries.
The two sides severed diplomatic relations since 2016.
