Iran Press/ Iran news: On Monday morning, President Ebrahim Raisi, heading a high-level delegation, left Iran for Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Cuba. Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdulahian is also accompanying the president on this trip.
Nasser Kanaani, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in his weekly press conference and in response to the question of the Iran Press reporter about the goals of this trip, said: "Holding Joint meetings of the private sectors of the two countries and signing of documents are among the goals of this trip so that economic relations can be improved along with political relations."
Pointing out that economic capacities will complement political relations, he said: "Iran's ability in the field of economy, industry, and modern technology is needed by Latin countries and it is a good opportunity for win-win cooperation."
Referring to sending of active private companies to these countries before this trip, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: "Negotiations have been conducted and joint meetings of the private sectors of the two countries will be held at the same time as the visit of the Iranian delegation and documents will be signed."
