Kano(IP)- In its annual celebrations for the students of Fudiyya Qismu Tahfizul Ku'anil Kareem Zariya, the Islamic Movement in Nigeria on Sunday hailed memorization of the holy Qur'an by 297 children who successfully concluded their course this year.

Iran PressAfrica: During the event held in Kano State, Nigeria, the students who memorized the holy book were tested by experts and successfully completed the memorization.

Nanah Asma Kabir, one of the students from Darazo, Nigeria, thanked Almighty Allah for favoring her to memories the holy book of Allah and said, "And then, I also thank my teachers and leaders who backed us in this process."

Islamic activities including the Hausa version of the "Hello Commander" anthem of children of resistance were organized in the program.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that those who carry the Quran in their hearts and memorize it are the chiefs of the people of heaven.
