Iran Press/ Iran News: Ardabil, a city in northwestern Iran, has been selected as the tourism capital of the Economic Cooperation Organization's (ECO) member states.
On the sidelines of the cabinet session on Wednesday, April 26, Ezzatollah Zarghami told reporters that in fact, the event is the beginning of a year of efforts to introduce the tourist attractions of the province of Iran.
ECO member states chose Ardabil as the tourism capital, the tourism capacities, historical features, and handicrafts of which are an opportunity to attract foreign tourists and promote domestic tourism, Zarghami added.
He stressed that Iran's motto is that tourism is the right of the world's people and all countries should prepare the grounds for the right.
