Tehran(IP)- Iran's Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Minister stated that handicrafts are the largest art community, yet the closest ones to Iranian civilization.

Iran PressIran news:  The closing ceremony of the 7th Fajr International handicrafts and traditional arts festival (Sarve-Simin) was held on Feb.23, 2023, at Milad Tower.

Attending the event, Ezzatollah Zarghami stressed that the most important thing which gives strength to sub-cultures is to pay attention to the countries' handicrafts.

In his remarks, he further noted: According to the order Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi's order, a handicraft market should be established at the entrances of every city by the end of 2023.

Zarghami added: In addition to creating handicraft markets, we are also seeking to strengthen handicrafts and traditional art fields by granting facilities to 20 million Tomans to make handicrafts practical.
