Baku (IP) – The 11th Conference of Ministers of Tourism of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) commenced with the participation of the Iranian Tourism Minister, Ezatollah Zarghami, hosted by Baku.

Iran PressAsia: The ministers of tourism of OIC countries, including the Iranian Minister of Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts, Ezatollah Zarghami, heads of tourism associations and other officials are present at the ceremony, which will be held at the Baku Congress Center.

Upon arrival in Baku, Zarghami in an interview called on Islamic countries to work to strengthen religious tourism.

The ceremony began with playing the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan and reciting a few verses from the Holy Quran. Then, as usual, Bangladeshi Tourism Minister Mahbub Ali, who chaired the 10th RAA Conference last year, delivered a speech.

After the address, he chaired the conference to the head of the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Fuad Naghiyev.
