Tehran (IP) - The Iranian Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicraft announced the holding of the international festival of traditional arts, and handicrafts in the country for the first time in the near future.

Iran PressIran news: On the sidelines of the cabinet session on Wednesday, Ezzatollah Zarghami said that the preparations made for this festival at the global level are rare in terms of handicraft gatherings in the world.

Zarghami said that works from 12 countries will be showcased at the event, with the head of the World Crafts Council (WCC) attending the meeting that will be held on the sidelines of the festival.

Providing educational workshops along with presenting high-level articles with a focus on the environment and medical issues is also among the other programs in the festival, he said.
