Iran Press/ Africa: Speaking to Iran Press in an exclusive interview at his home in Zaria, Kaduna State, Professor Abdullahi Danladi who is also the Chairman of the Resource Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria said: "For one to understand the importance of the impact of the International Quds day, one has to look at the history of the formation of the International Quds day by Imam Khomeini (may Allah have mercy on him) where he declared the last Friday of Ramadan as International Quds day whereby he called on Muslims and all conscientious people in the world to wake up. We should struggle to see the liberation of Palestinian land."
Professor Danladi added that International Quds Day is not limited to the issue of Palestine only, rather, it also urges people to wake up against oppressors all over the world.
He said the message of the Quds Day, if properly understood and implemented, will go ahead certainly in giving moral courage to the immediate environment of the Palestinians and the neighboring countries.
"If you look at the global kufr system, that is a network that is so interconnected that you cannot divorce one from the other. What is happening in Rwanda is related to what is happening in Palestine, is related to Syria, is related to what is happening in Yemen. With all this oppression that is taking place in the world, if people should wake up against the individual oppressors of their countries, which formed the network that is supplying the vein of International oppression, certainly the impact cannot be overestimated. It will go ahead in Liberating the Palestinians and also set us on the path of liberating our nation." said right hand-man to Sheikh Zakzaky. When talking about Nigerian government attacks on the peaceful Quds day processions, Professor Abdullahi Danladi said "One will wonder, people are just marching in the streets peacefully with placards, chanting solidarity with Palestinians, then what brought Nigerian Army to come and kill people? This confirms what I said earlier. It is an International conspiracy. The Nigerian government is serving the West and the West is controlled by zionists. Therefore, when we come out in Nigeria for solidarity with Palestine, the Nigerian authorities feel uncomfortable because we are now challenging the hegemony of their masters," he added.
