Middle East (IP)- On the occasion of World Quds Day, a number of residents of Al-Quds in interview with Iran press stressed the importance of the participation of the Arab and Islamic community in protecting Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Iran PressMiddle East: Imam Khomeini (RA), the Founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, named the last Friday of the Holy month of Ramadan as the International Quds Day in order to survive the fundamental issue of Palestine and to declare the solidarity of Muslims with the Palestinians and to mobilize forces to save Holy Quds from the Zionist occupation.

Palestinians living in Al-Quds, in an exclusive interview with Iranpress, called for the mobilization of the Arab and Islamic nation on the International Quds Day and stated that Arabs and Muslims stand by the Palestinians to protect Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

"Tamer Shaata", a Palestinian citizen living in Al-Quds, told Iranpress correspondent that the Palestinian people are in the front line of defending the Al-Aqsa Mosque and asked Arabs and Muslims to support the Palestinians and the Al-Aqsa Mosque in view of the repeated attacks of the Zionists on this mosque.

"Riyad Al-Sharbasi", a resident of Al-Aqsa Mosque, in an interview with Iranpress correspondent, called on  Arabs and Muslims to participate widely in the World Quds Day ceremony in  or der to support and to defense  Al-Aqsa Mosque.

"Um Khalid Washah", a woman living in  occupied  Quds, also told the Iranpress correspondent that the Al Aqsa  Mosque is in danger of daily attacks by the invaders and it is the duty of all Muslims to defend and protect this Holy mosque.
