Tehran (IP) - During a ceremony at the National Museum of the Islamic Revolution and Holy Defense on Monday, the winners of different groups of the 20th edition of best book in Holy Defense were awarded.

Iran PressIran News: The book "I am not a veteran" written by Seyyed Meysam Mousavian was recognized as the best book in the field of memory and fiction.

Also, the libraries of Tehran (Imam Ali army University) and Dezful (Dezful Specialized Library) were also introduced as the libraries of the year.

The closing ceremony of this festival was held in the presence of Mohammad Mehdi Esmaili, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Gholam Ali Haddadadal, Head of Persian Literature Academy, and Bahman Kargar, Head of the Foundation for the Preservation and Publication of the Holy Defense Value.

The Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, pointing to various influential people and promoters of sacred defense works, emphasized: "Perhaps the Leader of Iran's Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has got the most important share in this regard due to his specific perspective on the issue."

The Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance stated that our holy defense has created a miracle and these should be mentioned, adding: "The literature of the Islamic Revolution is so attractive that it fascinates the world wherever it is presented.

The head of Persian Academy and Literature, Gholam Ali Haddadadal also said: "The quality of the works is more important than the quantity. By analyzing the content of literary books, novels and stories compared to the time before the victory of the Islamic Revolution, we will understand how much we have changed."

"Some works have great prospects for young people and a new world has been opened to the people alongside the Islamic Revolution," he stated.
