Tehran (IP) - The Spokesman of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs denied a foreign newspaper's claim about an Iranian-Russian factory capable of manufacturing 6,000 drones.

Iran PressIran news: The Wall Street Journal says an Iranian delegation has been sent to Russia for assessing the construction of a factory capable of producing 6,000 drones to be used in the Ukrainian war.

Nasser Kanaani said on Tuesday that the countries that were the biggest exporters of weapons to Ukraine, one side of the Ukrainian-Russian war, sought to mislead the world general public by spreading fake news.

Kanaani stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran stood on neither side of the war and that Iran was not even pursuing such plans.

The Islamic Republic of Iran's approach is to encourage the parties engaged to resort to a political solution and also to persuade the international community to help end the war.

Arms exporters and instigators of wars are seeking to justify their unilateral actions in planning the war and its continuation by producing fake news.
