The deputy head of the national security and foreign policy commission of the Iranian parliament, Kamal Dehghani Firouzabadi, on Tuesday emphasized that the Saudi regime has been rejected by the governments and peoples of the world, because it violates and abuses international laws and regulations."

Iran News: Senior MP, Firouzabadi, in an exclusive interview with Iran Press referred to the cancellation of news conferences of Mohammad bin Salman, the crown prince of the Saudi regime in his recent visits to Algeria and Tunisia, arguing that the cancellation of these news conferences represents the increasing isolation of the Saudi regime in the international arena, saying certainly this trend will continue in the future.

Dehghani Firouzabadi added: "After the war started by the Saudi regime in Yemen in 2015 - a war which has killed tens of thousands of Yemenis - the leadership of Saudi Arabia, is now implicated in another terrible crime. The deputy head of the national security and foreign policy commission of the Iranian parliament went on to highlight the role of the Saudi regime's officials in helping the ISIS terrorist group in Syria and Iraq, adding: "The Al-e-Saud regime today collaborates closely with the Zionist regime in the region and, they are involved in all sorts of crimes, as an example they do not allow humanitarian aid to reach the people of Yemen, exposing them to hunger and starvation, which goes against international laws and conventions.

Dehghani Firouzabadi added: "Schools, hospitals and even public places in Yemen are regularly bombed by Saudi warplanes, and this is a clear case of war crimes being committed. But despite all these crimes, Western countries, especially United States, back this regime, and the main reason for this backing is Saudi Arabia's opposition to Iran and participation in America's  "Iranophobia" project.

Stressing that Saudi officials are increasingly dependent upon the Americans, and in a way they are trapped by Washington,  Dehghani Firouzabadi said: "The Saudis missed many opportunities to cooperate with regional countries, and countries of the Islamic world,  and today they are caught in a web of their own making, slowly sinking into a swamp of their own making - an indication of their own  ignorance and incompetence.  208/ 211 / 103
