Tehran (IP) - Iran's Minister of Sports and Youth and the Ambassador of Nicaragua met in Tehran and welcomed the expansion of sports cooperation between the two countries.

Iran PressIran news: According to Iran Press, Isaac Lenin Bravo, the Nicaraguan ambassador to Iran, met and talked with Seyyed Hamid Sajjadi today (Monday) while attending the Ministry of Sports and Youth.

The Minister of Sports and Youth of Iran, in a meeting with the Ambassador of Nicaragua to Tehran, voiced Iran's readiness to launch polo and zourkhaneh sports in this Latin American country.

Referring to the upcoming trip of 6 female Nicaraguan ministers to Iran to meet with Iranian ministers, "Bravo" also invited Sajjadi to meet with ministers.

Referring to the good relations between the two countries, Nicaragua's ambassador to Iran added: "The relationship should not only be based on politics, and this interaction should be established in other areas as well."

Seyyed Hamid Sajjadi also said in this meeting: "In Iran, we have suitable sports facilities such as shooting site, wrestling hall, ice skiing and riding track."
