Tehran (IP) – Iranian Energy Minister Ali-Akbar Mehrabian and Nicaraguan Foreign Minister Denis Moncada met on Monday to discuss the need for promoting Tehran-Managua cooperation.

Iran PressIran News: Mehrabian referred to the favorable ties between Iran and Nicaragua since the victory of the Islamic Revolution and noted the efforts of the current Iranian administration to promote relations with Latin American countries.

The Iranian energy minister stated that Iran-Nicaragua's developing cooperation is tangible, especially in the energy sector and exchanging goods and services.

He termed the role of the private sector in advancing mutual ties as essential and influential.

Denis Moncada, Nicaraguan Foreign Minister who attended Tehran Dialogue Forum (TDF 2022), stated that the ground for mutual interaction is established in different fields, including agriculture, education, and industry.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian received his Nicaraguan counterpart, Denis Moncada, on Sunday in Tehran.

During the meeting, the two ministers signed a comprehensive cooperation document.
