Tehran (IP) - The 16th edition of Iran's Men's Wushu Premier League, called "Martyr Qassem Soleimani," was kicked off on Dec. 22, 2022, at National Wushu Training Center, Tehran.

Iran PressIran News: During the competition, nine teams would compete with each other in the first round on Dec. 22, 23.

The Head of the Iran Wushu Federation told Iran Press News Agency in an exclusive interview that the premier league of martial arts has always helped maintain the national team's fitness.

Amir Seddighi stressed: Iran's national wushu athletes have been divided into different teams in a balanced manner, and the competitions have not been one-sided.

Seddighi further added: The champion of the Premier League this March will be determined after holding the second round of the Premier League.

He also said that the Premier League of Wushu is of good quality as it has been so in previous years.
