Iran Press/ Iran news: Although Germany is an industrialized country in Europe, it has aligned itself with the US against Iran.
During the recent unrest in Iran, Germany adopted an interventionist approach and planned a meeting of the Human Rights Council against Iran within the framework of a dual approach.
The resolution against Iran was approved at the meeting of the UN Human Rights Council with the support of Germany and the United States, while Berlin itself has a dark history in human rights.
Today, Germany considers itself a supporter of the Iranian people, while not so long ago, the Iranian people, especially children and women, were killed by chemical weapons manufactured in Germany. The weapons that Saddam's regime used in the eight-year war against Iran.
Germany is a country that claims to support human rights, gave the vast amount of materials and equipment needed to make chemical weapons to the Iraqi Baath regime, and played a role in a catastrophe in Iran.
Nasser Kanaani, the spokesman of Iran's Foreign Ministry, said: "German magazine DER SPIEGEL pointed out the country's role in arming Iraq's Ba'ath regime with chemical weapons, in which 80% of Iraq's chemical weapons were provided with the cooperation of Germany."

In the imposed war with Iran, Iraq carried out a total of 582 chemical attacks, including limited, large-scale, and very large-scale attacks, as a result of which more than 10,000 people were martyred, about 100,000 severely and 250,000 partially, were injured.
Khadijeh Karimi, director for international affairs of the Vice Presidency at the 35th extraordinary session of the UN Human Rights Council, said: "Germany was the largest supplier of materials and equipment needed to make chemical weapons for the Iraqi Baath regime during the imposed war with Iran."
This issue has been one of the reasons for the silence and deliberate inattention of Western governments and media to Iraq's chemical attacks during the war.
Dozens of chemical companies supported Iraq in building chemical weapons, and Germany was the biggest.
85 German companies, 19 French, 18 British, and 18 American companies, have helped the Iraqi Ba'ath regime by providing equipment and chemical weapons.
One of the biggest sellers of the materials needed to make Iraq's chemical bombs was Imhausen-Chemie, a German chemical company, and European media, especially German ones, have published documents about this.
Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian wrote on his Twitter: "The regime in Berlin, as the main provider of CWs to Saddam and other opportunists, have conducted massive HR violations through unjust and inhumane sanctions. Now, they are abusing HR mechanisms to perpetrate more HR violations, all in the name of a farce of 'solidarity' with Iranians.
With such a black human rights record today, Germany must be responsible for the massive violation of human rights against the people of Iran and be accountable for its crimes against Iranians in the international courts.
