The Iranian Judiciary has announced the formation of criminal cases against the officials of the U.S. government and the Zionist regime for their recent military aggressions and war crimes against Iran.

According to the Judiciary's spokesperson, Asghar Jahangir, extensive legal actions have been launched domestically and internationally to hold the perpetrators accountable and demand compensation for the damages inflicted on the country.

Jahangir detailed that Iran's Human Rights Headquarters has meticulously documented the crimes—including deliberate strikes on civilians, hospitals, schools, and critical infrastructure—classifying them as war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide under the Rome Statute. These documented reports have been officially submitted to the United Nations.

The scale of the domestic legal pursuit is massive, with over 3,000 legal petitions registered. Currently, 260 civil lawsuits with more than 300,000 plaintiffs have been filed in Tehran's civil courts. Additionally, 201 criminal cases regarding the 12-day war and 90 cases related to the Ramadan war are under review at the International Prosecutor's Office, with indictments already issued for several defendants.

The spokesperson emphasized that Iran, supported by the Foreign Ministry and the Presidency's Legal Department, will relentlessly pursue these cases in international tribunals until justice is fully served.
