Iran’s Permanent Representative to the U.N., Amir-Saeid Iravani, wrote in a letter to the U.N. Security Council and Secretary-General that 43 Iranian citizens have been martyred and more than 400 wounded in U.S. military aggressions since early July 2026.

Iravani said the people martyred include three women and one child, while 22 women and nine minors were injured.

He added that 47 people remain hospitalized in critical condition.

The envoy said the U.S. has been carrying out large-scale strikes on civilian infrastructure in Hormozgan Province, including bridges, roads, and Bandar Abbas Railway Station, adding the attacks disrupted emergency services, transportation, and civilian life.
