Khujand (IP) - On the occasion of the Iranian Cultural Week, a poem-reciting circle was held in Khujand of Tajikistan in the presence of the renowned Tajik poet Farzaneh Khujandi.

Iran PressAsia: The ceremony opened on Monday and was participated by a large group of Iranian residents in Tajikistan along with the ambassadors of some countries in Dushanbe. 

There, in the event, more than 50 Iranian artists present their artworks in such areas as painting, calligraphy, music, miniature painting, and Pahlavani arts.

In the ceremony, attended also by the Iranian Ambassador to Dushanbe, Khujandi recited poets and appreciated Iran for holding the cultural week occasion in Tajikistan. 

The Iranian ambassador Mohammad-Taghi Saberi honored the Tajik poet Farzaneh Khujandi for her efforts to strengthen the Persian language and said that her work would be published in Iran. 

Also, Khujandi's poetry collection was unveiled at the ceremony.
