Tajikistan (IP) - The Tajik poets and writers say that Persian poem is a cultural bridge between the Iranian and Tajik nations.

Iran PressAsia: Iran's Culture Week ceremony was inaugurated in Tajikistan on Monday. The cultural programs are underway in Khujand, Bactria, and Dushanbe, with about 80 Iranian artists presenting their works.

On the occasion of the Iranian Cultural Week in Tajikistan, Askar Hakim told the Iran Press correspondent in Dushanbe that the grand poets like Khayyam, Hafez, Sadi, and Kamal Khujandi were the commonwealth of the two nations.

Mirzo Skakurzod, a Tajik Writers' Union Building member, expressed satisfaction over the revival of the two countries' ties and said that during the years of Tajikistan's independence, more than 100 books were published by Tajik poets and writers in Tehran and Dushanbe.
