Tehran (IP) - Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs says that the US had better abandon the double standards policy and show its real will.

Iran PressIran News: Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and EU Foreign Policy Chief Josep Borrell held a phone talk on the removal of anti-Iran sanctions on Wednesday.

In a tweet on Thursday, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian wrote about the conversation, saying that messages were exchanged on the Vienna Talks and Iran's absolute readiness to conclude the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) negotiations was re-emphasized.

He noted: " The US must stop double-dealing. Genuine will is needed. We remain fully committed to secure rights of our people."

The Iranian foreign minister then referred to the country's stance towards the Ukrainian war: " war is not the solution. Accusations are fabricated& unsubstantiated."

Amir-Abdollahian also pointed to the unrest in Iran and criticized the Western countries' double standard over the issue: 

"Addressing hypocritical EU3/US statements on human rights in Iran, strongly rejected any foreign interference. Iran is anchor of stability in the region."

The instigation of brawls and riots in Iran under the pretext of a young girl's death once again caused the foreign enemies of Iran to step in and fuel the unrest. 

Unrest was instigated under the pretext of Mahsa Amini, 22, who died due to a sudden heart attack in a police center in Tehran on Tuesday, September 13, after being taken there for violation of dress codes along with some other women.

The rioters injure and kill ordinary people and police officers, devastate public property, they even attack ambulances.

The foreign-backed media, including Iran International, represent the rebels as people who are merely protesting.
