Tehran (IP) - Iran's High Council for Human Rights criticized the silence of the international bodies and the countries advocate human rights over the terrorist attack in Shiraz.

Iran PressIran news: An armed assailant member of the ISIS terrorist group on Wednesday in an armed attack on Shah Cheragh, the holy shrine of Hazrat Ahmad bin Musa (AS), in the city of Shiraz, the capital of Fars Province, southern Iran, led to the martyrdom of 15 people, including two children, and the wounding of 27 pilgrims.

The council referred to 17,000 Iranian victims of terrorism and stated that most of the assassinations in Iran, which were examples of crimes against humanity, had been carried out by the West-backed MKO.

It said that the terrorist attack in Shiraz was a sheer violation of international law (paragraph 4 of article 2 of the UN Charter) and the provisions of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (article 6, the right to live) and that the perpetrators of the crime must be prosecuted by the international bodies.
