Iran Press/ Asia: In the competitions held in Türkiye from September 19 to 25, the Wushu team of Iran's Shahid Beheshti University snatched four gold medals in Sanda competitions and won the world championship in the category.
Mohanna Rahimi and Shoja Panahi won the gold medals in the -60 kg weight category, Hamid-Reza Sahandi won gold in -70 kg, and Ali Khorshidi snatched gold in -80 kg.
The Indonesian team with 2 golds and the Turkish team with one gold stood second and third, respectively.
The Iranian athletes also managed to win 1 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze medals in the Talu section.
