Kazakhstan (IP) – Nur-Sultan of Kazakhstan hosts religious leaders and traditional religions of 60 countries, including the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Iran PressAsia: Religious leaders and traditional religions of 60 countries will gather in the form of 130 religious, political and cultural delegations to participate in the 7th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions from today (Wednesday) in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.

Secretary-General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought Hojjatoleslam Hamid Shahriari, Head of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization Hojjatoleslam Mehdi Imanipour, and Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Kazakhstan Majid Samadzadeh-Saber, are attending on behalf of Iran at the 7th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.

On Tuesday, while visiting the Linguistics Museum of the Eurasian National University, the head of the Islamic Culture and Relation Organization of Iran discussed with the university president Erlan Syzdykov ways to strengthen practical, educational, and cultural cooperation.

Currently, there are Persian language courses in three major universities in Kazakhstan, including the Eurasian National University.
