Shiraz (IP) - The first Ashura mourning rites and songs was held in the southern Iranian city of Shiraz.

Iran PressIran news: The first Ashura mourning rites and songs was held with the attendance of 12 groups from different provinces of Iran for two days, September 1st and 2nd, 2022, in Hafez Hall, Shiraz, with a significant presence of people and lovers of Ahlul Bayt.

Each of these artistic groups performed Ashura rites and songs based on the culture and customs of their provinces.

The people and artists of different provinces of Iran, each with their native culture, have kept the flag of Imam Hussein (as) aloft, and the first Ashura mourning rites and songs in Shiraz showed a corner of the diversity of the Ashura culture.
