Moscow (IP)- Iran's Foreign Minister said that International Atomic Energy Agency should distance itself from politicized behavior.

Iran PressIran news: Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian wrote on his Instagram page on Wednesday after meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov: "The International Atomic Energy Agency should distance itself from its politicized behavior and focus solely on its technical duties."

The head of Iran's diplomatic service stated: "It is not acceptable for Iran that after all parties return to the JCPOA, IAEA, again to raise some political viewpoints and baseless accusations against the Islamic Republic of Iran."

In a joint press conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, he added that Iran is one of the main actors in the world in the peaceful nuclear issue, and it is ready for any assistance and cooperation to establish security. 

Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs also stated that some humanitarian issues, prisoners, and Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant are interested in the Ukraine issue and continued: "All available capacities must be used for overcoming current situation."
