Konya-IP: With a victory over the Maldives, Women's Table Tennis team of Iran reached the final match of the Islamic Solidarity Games 2021 in Konya, Turkiye.

Iran PressIran Sports: The semifinals of the Women's Table Tennis Competition of the Islamic Solidarity Games 2021 were held today morning in Konya, where Iran's Table Tennis team powerfully defeated Maldives, and became the finalist.

In the first match, Mahshid Ashtari won over her rival 3-0.

In the second match, Neda Shahsavari, the team's captain won the match 3-2 against Maldives' athlete.

In the double tennis match, the Iranian team including Neda Shahsavari and Shima Safai won Maldives' team 3-1.

The match was attended by Petra Sörling, the President of the International Table Tennis Federation, and Khalil Al-Mohanndi, the President of the International Table Tennis Federation.

The final match will be held today evening, Thursday, and Iran's team will play against the winner of Turkiye-Uzbekistan match.
