Iran Press/ Europe: The 15th meeting of the Joint Economic Commission of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Belarus was held in Minsk (the capital of Belarus) under the chairmanship of the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran and the Minister of Industry of Belarus.
In this meeting, the strengthening and expansion of mutual cooperation in the field of commercial and industrial cooperation was on the agenda.
According to Iran press, Seyed Reza Fatemi Amin, the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran, continued his two-day trip to Belarus in a meeting with Aleksei Avramenko, the Minister of Roads and Transport of this country.
During this trip and meetings with the ministers and managers of Minsk, clear horizons in the relations between Iran and Belarus were determined.
Fatemi Amin added: "There is a possibility of increasing the current exchanges between the two countries, many negotiations were held with large Belarusian companies, which will serve as the infrastructure of all these transportation interactions."
The Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran noted: "Different Iranian companies have invested in Belarus in different fields, and this presence of investors in the two countries facilitates trade."
In this meeting, the Minister of Roads of Belarus stated that cooperation in the field of roads, railways, flights between the two countries and some agreements regarding transportation are already underway, adding that the north-south corridor for access to the sea is very important.
"In this context, we must have stable agreements in the field of transportation," concluded he.
