Tehran(IP)- Chairman of the Standing Commission on International Affairs of the Belarusian House of Representatives says Belarus deeply values Iran-Belarus economic ties, as it benefits both nations.

Iran PressIran news: The Belarus-Iran parliamentary friendship group at the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus is visiting Tehran on 11-14 July. 

Andrei Savinykh noted: impressively, Iran is a big country, building its way and civilization.

Highlighting how, on his first visit to Iran, he was stunned, Savinykh said: Iran and Belarus share common views, and the infrastructure of our industry is complementary; that is why we can bring our added value to the development of our national economy.

Andrei Savinykh stressed: We can also benefit a lot from speeding up the technological development of our countries (Iran and Belarus).

Today, both sides have also discussed the possibilities of ways to enhance the mutual ties, he noted.

Regarding both countries' high mine capacities, Iran's Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade stressed: In mining and medical equipment, Iranian and Belarusian companies will invest either in Iran or Belarus.

On 12 July, the head of the parliamentary friendship group, Chairman of the Standing Commission on International Affairs of the House of Representatives Andrei Savinykh, met with the Chairman of the Iran-Belarus parliamentary friendship group at the Assembly of the Islamic Council of Iran Abolfazl Amouei.

The parties discussed bilateral cooperation, including economic and academic contacts, focusing on inter-parliamentary collaboration. The heads of the parliamentary friendship groups reaffirmed their commitment to promoting cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
