Tehran (IP) - Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) said If what has been falsely attributed to Iran on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) remains, there is no reason for the cameras of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to be active in Iran's nuclear facilities.

Iran PressIran News: After the suspension of the negotiations in Vienna for the cancellation of sanctions on Iran and the delay of the United States to return to the JCPOA due to the lack of political will in Washington, the US and the European countries, imcluding Germany, England and France passed a resolution against Iran.

The measure was taken with the pressure on the countries from the Zionist regime and in cooperation with Rafael Grossi, the Director-General of  the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

This resolution has ignored Iran's extensive cooperation with the IAEA, which was done in good faith; For this reason, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) also announced the suspension of the ultra-security cameras of the measuring device on the Agency's line in Iran.

According to Iran Press, Mohammad Eslami, the Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, told reporters on Monday about the continuation of Iran's cooperation with the IAEA, stating: "The JCPOA was the result of negotiations between Iran and P5+1, but the West still made accusations based on the stolen documents. Alleged cases are against Iran.

Eslami added: "The basis of acceptance of the JCPOA by the Islamic Republic of Iran was to remove false attributions and claims as well as building trust. Iran agreed to limit the capacity of its activities in order to build confidence; however, the other side did not adhere to its commitments.

Expressing his regret for the rhetoric against Iran's nuclear program, Eslami said: "The Islamic Republic of Iran has never had hidden activities and enrichment outside the JCPOA framework and without coordination with the International Atomic Energy Agency."

The head of the AEOI stated that the JCPOA document is the result of 20 years of negotiations, stressing: "It was important for Iran to increase the strength of the negotiating team and have their hands full so that they can stand up to the excesses, and this has happened."
