Tehran (IP) - Speaking in the ceremony for receiving the credential letters of the accredited Ambassador of Lithuania to Iran, Iranian president said Iran and Lithuania have diverse and numerous capacities to promote relations and economic and commercial cooperation with each other.

Iran PressIran News: Regarding Iran's talks and the nuclear deal with the West, the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi also said: "Iran has fulfilled its obligations in the agreement according to the approval of all observers, but instead, the United States has withdrawn from this agreement and European countries have also violated their obligations.

Raisi also called the US and EU actions pursuing a resolution against the Islamic Republic of Iran which the IAEA Board of Governors attempted to come to during the negotiations impudent and contrary to the requirements of negotiations and agreements.

At the same time, he stated: "Lifting the cruel sanctions against Iran will provide the basis for agreement and cooperation."

Ričardas Degutis, the accredited Ambassador of Lithuania to Iran, also called for the expansion of Iran's economic relations with the European Union member states, including Lithuania, stating: "As a member of the European Union, I emphasize that there is a good opportunity to develop relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran."
