India (IP) - The Iranian Foreign Minister invited the Indian businessmen to have investments in Iran.

Iran PressAsia: Leading a high-ranking delegation, Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahain arrived in New Delhi on Wednesday morning and had meetings with the Indian Foreign Minister, Prime Minister, and National Security Advisor. 

Amir-Abdollahian then left New Delhi for Mumbai on Thursday morning and met with Indian businessmen there.

During the meeting, Amir-Abdollahian highlighted the old background of Iran-India's trade and the key role of Iran's Chabahar port as a secure route to develop bilateral trade. 

Still, he noted that there were good potentials in oil, gas, and petrochemical products in Iran that would be taken into account in the interactions with Iran.  

He highlighted India as a priority for attracting foreign investments in Iran and invited Indian businessmen to come to Iran and enjoy investment facilities.
